Time goes by so fast most of the times and the same is happening in Cagliari, where a group of AEGEE-addicted is working hard for the greatest event which has been organized by our antenna so far.
The TSU with AEGEE-Catania will start in one month approximately, a lot of local events have been already organized but in September AEGEE-Cagliari will go ahead hosting 80 participants during the AEGEE 25 event Many Countries, ONE Europe: 25 years of young democracy. How it will be? We can’t predict the future but we have a lot of expectations and a lot of surprises for our guests…
From the 7th to the 13th of September 80 crazy participants and a lot of mad organizers will party all together in our romantic city surrounded by the sea, where the summer never ends. It will be an atypical event: conferences and lecturers but also city tours, trips and unbelievable parties, the perfect mix to celebrate the 25th birthday of our beloved AEGEE and the 15 years of our young antenna.
The event, being part of the A25 Project, will focus on AEGEE history and one theme will be developed: job and mobility. Then, the AEGEE-Cagliari A25 Team will be ready to introduce you to our city, culture, history, food, drinks… To party all night long enjoying the last days of summer, because we have two very important birthdays to celebrate!
Here you have a general sum of the program:
First round: 7th-10th September: active involvement of the participants in the project!
- 7th: Arrivals and welcome to the participants, ice-breaking games and presentation of the A25 Project and the event;
- 8th: Thematic day about Europe and presentation of the AEGEE-Cagliari research about the view of Europe among the young population;
- 9th: Activities about mobility, the Schenghen Agreement, University bureaucracy and convalidation of studies: how to deal with it and problem solving;
- 10th: Job security in Italy and all over Europe: comparing laws and legislations.
Second round: 11th-13th September: let’s celebrate A25 and our 15th birthday!
After the first part of conferences, workshops and meetings, AEGEE-Cagliari will be glad to welcome the whole group to the celebration of its 15th birthday and AEGEE 25th years: city tours in our city, called “the pearl of the Mediterranean” (you’ll discover why!), never-ending parties, trips to some beach towns.

It will be a huge celebration where the history and the future of AEGEE will meet in our breathtaking island, hoping to offer you just the best… We’re working hard

The fee includes 3 meals per day, lodging and transports. We will stay in the student dorm of the University, in the centre of the town and near the buildings where activities will be helded.
