The project was held in Cagliari from 25th March to 1st April and involved 40 young people coming from Italy, Latvia, Hungary and The Nederlands. Considering the importance of immigrants integration for the future of our society, the project aimed to strengthen the communication and listening skills of the participants to keep the dialogue alive among people with different values and cultural backgrounds.
Through presentations, working groups and team games, they questioned their attitude towards cultural diversity and they found answers thanks to the discussion and comparison of different ideas.
We tried to understand the immigration problem thanks to a meeting with a cultural mediator; and mainly, we went into the communication and listening skills thoroughly with discussions and games. The participants will share their experience at home, building a more open-minded and tolerant society.
